Conceptualización y realización del tráiler del cortometraje Tower Control

Abstract

[ES] En esta memoria se documentará todo el proceso de conceptualización y realización del tráiler del cortometraje “TOWER CONTROL”, cuyas características quedan reflejadas en el producto final marcado como objetivo de este trabajo de fin de máster, con una duración de un minuto y veintitrés segundos. Este proceso va desde la preproducción, partiendo de las numerosas referencias y contexto histórico en términos cinematográficos, tomado en cuenta para el planteamiento conceptual del tráiler; hasta los correspondientes procesos de postproducción, con un peso decisivo para la construcción de la ambientación y el sentido del futuro proyecto. Este trabajo presenta un característico estilo estético, inspirado en el cine de serie B norteamericano de los años 70 y 80, así como en la corriente cinematográfica de la ciencia ficción retro. Con ello, se incluirá el plan de rodaje elaborado con el fin de facilitar los procesos de postproducción planteados que den forma a las particularidades de éste tráiler. La realización de la postproducción del tráiler, y en posteriori consecuencia, el cortometraje final, implica un ambicioso desafío a la hora de medir las numerosas habilidades que conlleva la postproducción del cortometraje “TOWER CONTROL”.

[EN] In this report, the entire process of conceptualization and realization of the trailer for the short film “TOWER CONTROL” will be documented, whose characteristics are reflected in the final product marked as the objective of this master's thesis, with a duration of one minute and twenty-three seconds. This process goes from preproduction, based on the numerous references and historical context in cinematographic terms, taken into account for the conceptual approach of the trailer; until the corresponding postproduction processes, with a decisive weight for the construction of the atmosphere and the meaning of the future project. This work presents a characteristic aesthetic style, inspired by the American B series cinema of the 70s and 80s, as well as the cinematic current of retro science fiction. This will include the filming plan prepared in order to facilitate the postproduction processes proposed that shape the particularities of this trailer. The realization of the post-production of the trailer, and subsequently, the final short film, implies an ambitious challenge when it comes to measuring the numerous skills involved in the post-production of the short film “TOWER CONTROL”.
