Intervención paisajística en el cerro del Castillo de Chiva (Valencia)

Abstract

[ES] El trabajo final de máster tiene por objeto la intervención paisajística del cerro que se sitúa dentro de la localidad valenciana de Chiva, en cuyo alto, se encuentra el castillo de Chiva. El trabajo contará con una fase de análisis inicial, que se llevará a cabo en el espacio visual afectado, tomando como punto de referencia el cerro del castillo, que delimita el territorio que afecta al proyecto. Se caracterizan los elementos que componen el paisaje abordando, por un lado, los factores físicos y bióticos del territorio, como la topografía, hidrografía, vegetación, climatología o los riesgos y, por otro lado, factores sociales, como su carácter histórico, y socio-culturales

El carácter de la unidad de paisaje en la que se ubica, así como las propiedades visuales respecto de su entorno, marcarán las pautas de la integración visual de las diferentes partes del espacio de intervención. Tras el diagnóstico, el concepto de intervención proyectual se ajustará a los aspectos relativos a su significado como paisaje cultural, naturaleza y la funcionalidad para la población, entendiendo cada uno de los factores como parte de un conjunto que queda definido en el marco del proyecto. Finalmente, se abordará una propuesta con el diseño de los distintos componentes requeridos, dentro del ámbito proyectual, con la finalidad de realzar el paisaje del cerro del castillo.

[EN] The final master's thesis aims at the landscape intervention of the hill that is located within the Valencian town of Chiva, on whose top, is the castle of Chiva. The work will have an initial analysis phase, which will be carried out in the affected visual space, taking as a point of reference the hill of the castle, which delimits the territory that affects the project. The elements that make up the landscape are characterized by addressing, on the one hand, the physical and biotic factors of the territory, such as topography, hydrography, vegetation, climatology, or risks, and, on the other hand, social factors, such as its historical and socio-cultural characters.

The nature of the landscape unit in which it is located, as well as the visual properties with respect to its surroundings, will set the guidelines for the visual integration of the different parts of the intervention space. After the diagnosis, the concept of project intervention will be adjusted to the aspects related to its meaning as cultural landscape, nature and functionality for the population, understanding each of the factors as part of a set that is defined in the framework of the project. Finally, a proposal will be addressed with the design of the different components required, within the scope of the project, in order to enhance the landscape of the castle hill.
