Hotel y Centro de Congresos en Castalla

Abstract

[ES] Situado en la periferia de Castalla (Alicante), en el linde del Paraje Natural del Maigmó y bajo la presencia del castillo, el proyecto de hotel y centro de congresos debe lidiar con la relación entre el borde urbano y la ampliación del polígono industrial del municipio. Como si de un gran balcón con vistas a la Sierra de Mariola se tratara, el hotel surge como respuesta al desnivel del terreno y condiciones del programa, sin perder el valor paisajístico del entorno, tanto por la proximidad a parques naturales, como por la vegetación y territorio próximo. Entendiendo Castalla como un posible centro industrial entre los distintos pueblos situados en la Cuenca de Castalla, el programa se orienta hacia usuarios y actividades relacionadas con el polígono, en el ámbito de conferencias, congresos y reuniones.

[EN] Located on the outskirts of Castalla (Alicante), in the border of the Natural Place of the Maigmó and under the presence of the castle, the project of hotel and center of congresses must deal with the relation between the urban edge and the extension of the industrial polygon of the town. As if it were a large balcony overlooking the Sierra de Mariola, the hotel arises as a response to the unevenness of the terrain and conditions of the program, without losing the landscape value of the environment, both by the proximity to natural parks, as by the vegetation and nearby territory. Understanding Castalla as a possible industrial center among the different towns located in the Cuenca de Castalla, the program is oriented towards users and activities related to the polygon, in the scope of conferences, congresses and meetings.
