Abstract

[EN] One of the most persistent human curiosities throughout history is undoubtedly the study and self-discovery of the individual. In fact, the subject is made up of living matter that deteriorates with the passage of years; In addition, it consists of another psychological part closely related to the social framework. Exploring one's own body and interpreting it is a very habitual work in the artistic field, allowing the author to investigate in peculiar and inherent aspects. "Before time" is an intimate project in which the process of identity is related to personal self-exploration. The objective is to know and understand the body itself from an anatomical as well as social perspective. The result can vary depending on the subject, reaffirming that the social identity of the individual is an alterable and subjective construction.

[CA] Una de les curiositats humanes més persistents al llarg de la història és, sens dubte, l’estudi i l’autodescobriment de l’individu. En efecte, el subjecte es conforma de matèria viva que es deteriora amb el pas dels anys; a més, consta d’altra part psicològica estretament relacionada amb el marc social. Explorar el propi cos i interpretar-lo és una tècnica molt habitual en l’àmbit artístic, permetent a l’autor indagar en aspectes peculiars i inherents. “Abans de temps” és un projecte íntim en el que es relaciona el procés d’identitat amb l’autoexploració personal. L’objectiu és conèixer i comprendre minuciosament el propi cos des d’una perspectiva anatòmica així com social. El resultat pot variat en funció del subjecte, reafirmant que la identitat social de l’individu és una construcció alterable i subjectiva.
