Inmymind: an experimental non-fiction project about my Erasmus+ experience in Lithuania

Abstract

[ES] El presente proyecto nos sumerge en un producto experimental de no ficción que muestra la experiencia personal de la estudiante Elena Alcalá Sánchez sobre su estancia en Vilnius (Lituania) como estudiante Erasmus+ y como su participación se desarrolla a través del conocimiento de nuevas personas y nuevas formas de vida y educación

El documental consiste en una combinación de imágenes que representan dos líneas paralelas dentro de la experiencia: la que se desarrolla de forma real y la que se desarrolla en la mente del estudiante acerca de lo que ve, experimenta y piensa. De esta forma, el proyecto presenta muchas concepciones, prejucios y contrastes que pueden ocurrir a través de la visión del extrajenro. Así pues, veremos una evolución de la experiencia del estudiante, desde el principio hasta el final, mostrando sus pensamientos y su área introspectiva sobre sus experiencias vitales dentro del Erasmus.

[EN] The present project will take us into an experimental non-fiction product which will show the personal experience of the student Elena Alcalá Sánchez about her stay in Vilnius (Lithuania) as an Erasmus+ student, and how her involvement develops thanks to the opportunity of discover new people and new ways of life and education.

The documentary presents a combination of images which represents two parallel lines of the experience: what happens in the reality and what happens in the mind of the student about what she sees, experiments and thinks. In this way, the project shows some prejudges and contrasts that develop in the perception of a foreign person. Therefore, the project displays an evolution of the experience of the student, since the beginning to the end, showing the personal thoughts and the introspective mind area of the student about her Erasmus' s experiences.
