ESTUDIO DE LA INFLUENCIA DE PELÍCULAS DE VENTANAS DE CONTROL SOLAR EN DIFERENTES CLIMAS Y ORIENTACIONES

Abstract

[ES] Las ventanas son uno de los componentes principales en casas y edificios. Tienen el propósito de proporcionar luz y ventilación, permitiendo a través de ellas la comunicación desde el interior hacia el exterior. Estas dos funcionalidades están permitidas gracias a los mecanismos de apertura y cierre y los materiales vidriados.

En términos de energía, representan una fuente no deseada de ganancia de calor en verano y pérdidas de calor en invierno que afectan a nuestra comodidad climática, lo que se refleja en el consumo de energía para el acondicionamiento de las habitaciones. Esto se debe a que el rendimiento térmico de una ventana depende de las condiciones climáticas ambientales en las que se encuentra. Para contribuir al ahorro de energía en los edificios, el principal objetivo de las ventanas es evitar el paso de calor en el interior en climas cálidos y mantener el calor dentro del edificio en los fríos.

Hoy en día, los edificios son responsables de consumir entre el 30% y el 40% de la energía utilizada en la mayoría de los países. Esta es la razón por la cual es necesario construir edificios eficientes.

Un hogar eficiente es aquel que aprovecha al máximo los recursos climáticos y energéticos del lugar para lograr la comodidad de una manera natural. Las casas eficientes son más frescas en verano y cálidas en invierno. Lo logran consumiendo menos energía que las casas convencionales y reduciendo la dependencia de los medios artificiales de refrigeración y calefacción. Todas las viviendas eficientes deben tener las siguientes características: diseño, materiales, terminaciones y técnicas de construcción apropiadas para el clima del lugar.

En la tesis, además de presentar el marco teórico se estudiará un caso práctico relacionado con las películas de control solar. El caso será estudiado en 3 climas diferentes y en las 4 orientaciones para extraer conclusiones sobre su necesidad.

[EN] Windows are one of the main components in homes and buildings. They have the purpose of providing light and ventilation, allowing through it the communication from the interior to the exterior. These two functionalities are allowed thanks to mechanisms of opening and closing and glazed materials.

In terms of energy, they represent an unwanted source of heat gain in summer and heat losses in winter affecting to our climate comfort, which is reflected in the energy consumption for the conditioning of the rooms. This is because the thermal performance of a window depends on the environmental climatic conditions in which it is located. To contribute to saving energy in buildings, the main objective of windows is to prevent the passage of heat inside in warm weathers and to keep the heat inside the building in cold ones.

Nowadays, buildings are responsible for consuming between 30% and 40% of the energy used in most countries. This is the reason why it is necessary to build up efficient buildings.

An efficient home is one that takes full advantage of the climatic and energy resources of the place to achieve comfort in a natural way. Efficient homes are cooler in summer and warm in winter. They achieve this by consuming less energy than conventional homes and reducing the dependence on artificial means of cooling and heating. All efficient housing must have the following characteristics: design, materials, completions and construction techniques appropriate to the climate of the place.

In the thesis, in addition to presenting the theoretical framework, a practical case related to solar control films will be studied. The case was studied in 3 different climates and in the 4 orientations for its conclusion.
