LA PIEL QUE NO(S)EPARAAnálisis de dos series escultóricas

Abstract

[ES] La piel que nos separa es un trabajo de fin de máster que explora diferentes significaciones del concepto ¿habitar¿ dentro del ámbito artístico. Se indaga en la forma en que los límites y el espacio componen una obra y las implicaciones conceptuales que conlleva el empleo de dichos elementos. Cuestiona las características del espacio interior en contraste/comunión con el espacio exterior y la cualidad poética de habitarlos. A su vez, se pretende hacer un análisis de la capacidad formal y simbólica del agujero y reflexionar sobre la naturaleza de las superficies escultóricas y la posibilidad de que alberguen un relato.

Las obras producidas son construidas a partir de paredes que delimitan un espacio interior a la vez que lo conectan con el exterior, suscitando cuestionamientos entorno a la capacidad comunicativa de estos dos elementos y la dicotomía del contenido como posible contenedor. Concebimos las piezas de las dos series escultóricas que componen la producción personal, como elementos simbólicos que buscan cercanías a través de la comunicación entre los espacios que contienen y los que las circundan. Lugares que reúnen los deseos, procesos, búsquedas, proyecciones y verdades del creador y de su interlocutor.

[EN] The skin that pull(us)apart is an end of Master investigation that explores different significations of ¿inhabiting¿ inside of the artistic field. It inquires the way in which the shape of limits and space create an artpiece and the conceptual implication that leads the use of this two elements. Questioning the characteristics of the inner space in contrast/communion with the external space and the poethic quality of inhabiting them. At the same time, there is the intention of making an analysis of the formal and symbolic capacity of the hole and ponder about the nature of sculptural superficies and their possibility of hosting a story.

The artwork that composes the personal production have been built through walls that delimit an inner space at the same time that connect it with the outer space, raising questions about the communicative capacity of both elements ant the dichotomy of the contente as a posible container. We conceive the works from both series as symbolic elements that look for closeness through the communication between the spaces they contain and the spaces that surround them. Places that gather desires, personal processes, researches, proyections and truths from the creator and his viewer.
