ESTUDIO TÉCNICO Y PROPUESTA DE CONSERVACIÓN DE LA PINTURA MURAL ``ALEGORÍA DE LA JUSTICIA¿¿

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo final de grado se centra en el estudio de la pintura mural realizada por Javier Clavo denominada ` Alegoría de la Justicia `, que se encuentra en el descansillo del primer piso de la actual Facultad de Filosofía y Ciencias de la Educación (antigua Facultad de Derecho), y pertenece a las colecciones artísticas de la Universitat de València.

Con este trabajo se pretende realizar un estudio enfocado en la descripción física, la iconografía de la representación, las características técnicas y materiales (de las que la bibliografía sobre el tema aporta datos contradictorios), el estado de conservación de la obra, y culminar el proyecto con una propuesta de intervención y de conservación preventiva adecuada a la tipología artística (arte contemporáneo), todo ello de manera justificada, razonada y fundamentada en los aprendizajes adquiridos en el Grado de Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales.

[EN] The present final degree work focuses on the study of mural painting by Javier Clavo called `Alegoría de la Justicia¿, which is located on the landing of the first floor of the current Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Sciences (former Faculty of Law), and belongs to the artistic collections of the University of Valencia.

With this work is intended to carry out a study focused on the physical description, the iconography of the representation, the technical and material characteristics (of which the literature on the subject provides contradictory data), the state of conservation of the work, and culminating the project with a proposal of intervention and preventive conservation appropriate to the artistic typology (contemporary art), all in a justified, reasoned and based on the learnings acquired in the Degree of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property.
