CUERPOS DISIDENTES. UNA APROXIMACIÓN DESDE LA PRÁCTICA PICTÓRICA

Abstract

[ES] En "Cuerpos disidentes. Una aproximación desde la práctica pictórica" se recoge una memoria pictórica-teórica en torno a los cuerpos no normativos y el concepto actual de Body Positive que inunda Instagram. Se estudiará cómo se prioriza el culto al cuerpo hoy en día y se expande a través de la publicidad en los mass media actuales: revistas, televisión, y sobre todo redes sociales. Ahondaremos en nuevos movimientos en contra de este canon impuesto que apuestan por la diversidad de todo tipo de cuerpos para finalmente evidenciar un cambio de mirada, donde reflejaremos estos cuerpos disidentes en personas de nuestro entorno, de manera que el retrato íntimo ocupará una gran parte del trabajo. A su vez, se presentarán cuatro series que ahondan en estos términos buscando nuevas metodologías poéticas que permitan indagar en la experimentación plástica, para encontrar nuevas maneras de afrontar la pintura y nuevos recursos plástico-gráficos que nos permitan madurar tanto pictóricamente como teóricamente.

[EN] "Dissenting Bodies. An approach from pictorial practice" includes a pictorial-theoretical memory about non-normative bodies and the current concept of Body Positive that is flooding Instagram. This study enphasizes on how the cult of the body is prioritized nowadays and is expanded throughout advertising in today's mass media: magazines, television, and above all social networks. It delves into new movements against this imposed canon, which bet on the diversity of all types of bodies, to finally show a change of view, where these dissident bodies are reflected in people around us, so that the intimate portrait will occupy a large part of the project. At the same time, four series will be presented that delve into these terms, seeking new poetic methodologies that allow us to investigate plastic experimentation, to find new ways of facing painting and new plastic-graphic resources that allow us to mature both pictorially and theoretically.
