Resistencia de las vigas de acero laminado frente a cargas concentradas según el DB SE-A del CTE

Abstract

[ES] Una de las comprobaciones frente a Estados límite últimos que establece el documento básico Seguridad Estructural, Acero del Código Técnico de la Edificación para vigas de alma llena es la de la resistencia del alma frente a cargas concentradas. Esta condición consiste en comprobar el alma de la viga, como si fuera un soporte corto, a pandeo. En el cálculo de la resistencia a pandeo, el área afectada, así como la esbeltez a tener en cuenta, dependen de las características geométricas del perfil a comprobar, de modo que es posible calcular la resistencia frente a cargas concentradas de cada uno de los perfiles. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo el generar unas tablas de resistencia frente a las cargas concentradas de una serie de perfiles de acero laminado, teniendo en cuenta los aceros estructurales S235, S275 y S355. En una primera aproximación se calculará la resistencia del alma sin rigidizar para posteriormente proponer distintas opciones de rigidización y la resistencia correspondiente.

[EN] One of the Ultimate Limit State conditions that must be verified, considering the Basic Document, Structural Safety, Steel of the Spanish Technical Building Code for full-web beams is the buckling resistance of the web under concentrated loads. This condition consists in checking the web of the beam like a short column considering the buckling phenomenon. In this process, to obtain the buckling resistance of the web, the affected area, and the slenderness, geometrical characteristics of the cross section to be checked should be taken into account, therefore, it is possible to obtain the concentrated load resistance for each one of the analysed cross sections The aim of this work is to produce a set of concentrate loads resistance tables for different series of hot rolled steel cross sections, and structural steel grades equal to S235, S275 and S355. In a first step, the strength of the unstiffened web will be obtained, proposing in a second step different stiffening solutions and the corresponding resistance.
