Diseño y análisis de viabilidad del Circuito OCR Colonial Race en Perú

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar la viabilidad de la celebración de un circuito de carreras de obstáculos en Perú. Como punto de partida, se estudia la posibilidad de organizar cuatro eventos, repartidos en distintas zonas geográficas del país, que permitan fidelizar al deportista practicante de esta disciplina y, al mismo tiempo, captar a otros participantes por proximidad geográfica para cada carrera. Las carreras de obstáculos tienen buena aceptación en Sudamérica, si bien, hasta el momento, no se han implantado en Perú, en esta modalidad. En Ecuador, tiene gran impacto este deporte por lo que se considera que puede exportarse la idea a Perú con suficientes garantías de éxito. La realización del trabajo conllevará un análisis de localización de los cuatro eventos a disputar, así como el calendario idóneo para la celebración de cada una de las pruebas. Del mismo modo, será necesario un análisis de viabilidad económica del circuito, estimando la recaudación por inscripciones que se pueda conseguir, así como los gastos fijos y variables que conllevará. Además, será necesario hacer un estudio de mercado donde se considere la potencial competencia en el sector, así como las sinergias y colaboraciones con proveedores y patrocinadores que se pudiese conseguir. El trabajo debe incluir estos estudios, así como un reglamento básico del circuito y un calendario de pruebas a disputar, con descripción del protocolo a seguir para la organización de cada una de ellas y las campañas de promoción a realizar.

[EN] This paper aims to analyze the feasibility of holding an obstacle course in Peru. Firstly, we study the possibility of organizing four events, distributed in different geographical areas of the country, which will allow for the athletes of the aformentioned discipline to become loyal participants and attract new athletes by proximity to the race locations. Obstacle races currently have a high acceptance by participants through different areas of South Africa, although, so far, they have not been implemented in Peru, within this modality. In Ecuador, the above mentioned sport has had a great impact, so it is considered that the idea can be exported to Peru with great guarantees of success. The study bellow will involve an analysis of the location of the four events to be played, as well as the ideal timeline for the celebration of each of the events. Furthermore, an analysis of the economic viability of the circuit is required, forecasting the revenues obtained from the estimated subscriptions, as well as the variable and fixed expenses that it will entail. In addition, it will be necessary to make a market study where direct and indirect competition in the industry is considered, as well as synergies and collaborations with suppliers and sponsors that could be achieved. The document must include the mentioned studies, as well as a basic regulation of the circuit, a proper Schedule of the tests to be held alongside with a description of the protocol to be followed by the organization of each of them. Last but not least, the work should contain the promotianal campaigns to be carried out.
