Análisis de los alojamientos turísticos "pet-friendly" en la Safor y propuestas de mejora

Abstract

[ES] En la actualidad gran parte de hogares en España convive con al menos un perro y más del 50% de ellos afirman que viajan al menos una vez al año con él. Este hecho, que cada día va en aumento, ofrece una oportunidad al sector turístico de ampliar sus servicios y adaptarse a la nueva sociedad para obtener unos mayores beneficios. Hoy en día existen destinos y alojamientos turísticos que han aprovechado esta oportunidad para crecer dentro del mercado turístico y ofrecer así una serie de servicios específicos, de manera que a estas familias y sus mascotas les resulte mucho más sencillo encontrar un lugar donde poder pasar sus vacaciones. La mayor parte de personas que viajan con su mascota escogen como destino zonas rurales, ya que generalmente suelen estar más acondicionadas para los peludos de la familia. La otra pequeña parte, elige destinos de playa, principalmente con alquiler de apartamento o acampada. Puesto que este proyecto se específica en el estudio de alojamientos pet-friendly en la comarca de la Safor, se estudiará más en profundidad los aspectos más interesante e importantes de las personas que escogen destinos de costa y sus respectivos alojamientos. Durante este proyecto se ha llevado a cabo una metodología cualitativa con el objetivo de hacer un análisis sobre los alojamientos pet-friendly y posteriormente proponer mejoras en sus servicios. En primer lugar, se ha hecho un estudio sobre la oferta turística de alojamientos que acepten mascotas en la Safor . Para ello se ha realizado una encuesta de manera general y vía on-line, con el objetivo de obtener datos que resulten interesantes para la evolución del proyecto. Por otro lado se ha hecho un análisis sobre las comarcas de la Safor que cuentan con alojamientos pet-fiendly, más concretamente Gandía, Miramar y Daimuz. También se ha averiguado que tipo de restricciones, es decir, limitaciones o inconvenientes ponen estos tipos de alojamientos a la hora de permitir hospedar a clientes con mascotas y propuestas para que los alojamientos mejoren sus servicios.

[EN] Today many households in Spain live with at least one dog and more than 50% of them claim to travel at least once a year with it. This fact, which is increasing every day, offers an opportunity for the tourism sector to expand its services and adapt to the new society for greater profits. Today there are destinations and tourist accommodation that have taken this opportunity to grow within the tourist market and thus offer a number of specific services, so that these families and their pets find it much easier to find a place to spend their holidays. Most people traveling with their pet choose rural areas as their destination, as they are usually more conditioned for the furry of the family. The other small part, choose beach destinations, mainly with apartment rental or camping. Since this project is specifically in the study of pet-friendly accommodation in the safor region, the most interesting and important aspects of the people who choose coastal destinations and their respective accommodations will be studied in more depth. During this project, a qualitative methodology has been carried out with the aim of making an analysis of pet-friendly accommodation and subsequently proposing improvements in its services. First, a study has been done on the tourist offer of accommodation that accepts mascostas in the Safor. To do this, a survey has been carried out in a general and online way, with the aim of obtaining data that are interesting for the evolution of the project. On the other hand, an analysis has been made on the counties of Safor that have pet-fiendly accommodation, more specifically Gandía, Miramar and Daimuz. It has also been found that the type of restrictions, i.e. limitations or inconveniences put these types of accommodation when it comes to allowing guests with pets and proposals to make the best accommodations in their services.
