Diseño de estantería convertible

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo de este proyecto es el diseño de una estantería capaz de adaptarse a las necesidades de cada uno de los usuarios de la mejor forma posible, en este caso concretamente a las necesidades que surgen a los estudiantes que van a realizar sus estudios fuera de su residencia habitual. Como cada usuario individual es único y presenta necesidades diferentes a las de otro se pretende diseñar un producto de gran adaptabilidad a las necesidades del usuario. Para llevar a cabo este objetivo se va a realizar un estudio a modo de encuesta al público objetivo para conocer de primera mano las necesidades reales que surgen a los estudiantes y a qué funciones le dan más importancia a la hora de realizar la compra de este tipo de muebles, con el fin de definir los requisitos y restricciones que deberá presentar el diseño. Dado que se pretende conseguir un diseño innovador y moderno, se va a realizar un estudio de mercado para conocer las características de los modelos similares existentes en el mercado. Una vez se realice este estudio se llevará a cabo la fase de ideación, y con ella la elección y desarrollo de un diseño que resulte viable. Para desarrollar el diseño se definirán formas, dimensiones, materiales, acabados superficiales y métodos de producción de cada uno de los elementos que formarán el conjunto de la estantería.

[EN] The objective of this project is the design of a bookshelf capable of adapting to the needs of each of the users in the best possible way, in this case specifically to the needs that arise to students who are going to study outside their habitual residence. As each individual user is unique and presents different needs from the other, it is intended to design a product that is highly adaptable to the user's needs. To carry out this objective, a study will be carried out as a survey to the target audience to know first-hand the real needs that arise to the students and which functions they give more importance to when making the purchase of this type of furniture, in order to define the requirements and restrictions that the design must present. Since it is intended to achieve an innovative and modern design, a market study will be carried out to find out the characteristics of similar models on the market. Once this study is carried out, the ideation phase will be carried out, and with it the choice and development of a design that is viable. In order to develop the design, shapes, dimensions, materials, surface finishes and production methods will be defined for each of the elements that will make up the shelf unit.
