EL OLVIDO ESTÁ LLENO DE MEMORIA. UNA APROXIMACIÓN A LOS ÁLBUMES FOTOGRÁFICOS FAMILIARES Y LA MEMORIA DESDE LA JOYERÍA ARTÍSTICA CONTEMPORÁNEA

Abstract

[ES] Trabajo de investigación sobre el recuerdo individual y el colectivo, la memoria y el olvido. Estudiaremos como marco conceptual las teorías sobre memoria y olvido, la imagen y la fotografía, los álbumes fotográficos familiares y los referentes tanto conceptuales como formales que han trabajado sobre el tema. Recurriendo a la autobiografía, desde una perspectiva de género, intentaremos establecer una comunicación entre la memoria personal de la autora y los recuerdos de la persona que observa, intentando unir en una misma obra -como en el lenguaje-, lo real, lo simbólico, y el imaginario personal y colectivo. Como culminación del proceso de investigación del proyecto hemos realizado una colección de joyería artística que, mediante imágenes y objetos ligados a esas imágenes, procedentes del álbum fotográfico de la autora, establece una comunicación entre memoria individual y colectiva: cada joya incorpora, reúne, pieza, observador y autora. El fin último es demostrar que la joyería contemporánea se encuadra dentro de las artes plásticas.

[EN] Research work on individual and collective memory, memory and forgetting. We will study as a conceptual framework the theories about memory and forgetting, the image and photography, family photographic albums and both conceptual and formal references that have worked on the subject. Using the autobiography, from a gender perspective, we will try to establish a communication between the personal memory of the author and the memories of the observer, trying to unite in the same work -as in language-, the real, the symbolic, and the personal and collective imagination. As a culmination of the research process of the project, we have made a collection of artistic jewelry that, through images and objects linked to these images from the author's photographic album, establishes a communication between individual and collective memory: each jewel incorporates, gathers, piece, observer and author. The ultimate goal is to show that contemporary jewelry fits within the plastic arts.
