RE_VISIONES DEL COLLAGE EN LA ESCENA DE CREACIÓN CONTEMPORÁNEA ESPAÑOLA. DEL OBJETO ENCONTRADO A LA IMAGEN ROBADA (1970-2020)

Abstract

[ES] Lejos de caer en una revisión historicista, este trabajo de investigación presenta el collage como una de las estrategias de búsqueda y experimentación artística más fecundas y significativas de nuestro tiempo.

Tomando como caldo de cultivo la escena de creación contemporánea española, este estudio lleva a cabo un sucinto análisis de la evolución y actual puesta en vigor de las diferentes prácticas y discursos artísticos que parten de la noción del collage, en el tratamiento del objeto y de la imagen, como respuesta a unas inquietudes artísticas basadas en una poética de lo fragmentario.

Apropiación, descontextualización, interdisciplinariedad y compromiso crítico conforman las bases de un savoir faire en plena efervescencia que evidencia una particular cartografía del actual panorama del arte español.

[EN] Far from falling into an historical revision, this research brings forth collage as one of the most prolific and significant strategies of search and artistic experimentation of our time.

Taking the proposals of conceptual art as the starting point and prelude to the current Spanish scene of contemporary creation, this study carries out a succinct analysis of the identity, evolution and current implementation of the collage principle through various artistic practices and discourses that, conceived from an extended appreciation in the treatment of object and image, are articulated from the discontinuous and the fragmentary poetics.

Interdisciplinarity, miscegenation, appropriation, recontextualization, resignification and critical engagement constitute the bases of a savoir faire in full effervescence that clearly shows a particular cartography in constant reconfiguration of the contemporary panorama of Spanish art
