La humanización de los objetos:dicotomía entre objeto de uso y objeto artístico

Abstract

[ES] El presente trabajo hace un análisis en torno a las ideas de objeto de uso y objeto artístico. A través del estudio de referentes artísticos y la realización de 3 obras se busca reflexionar y hacer reflexionar sobre la percepción que tenemos del objeto de uso frente al objeto artístico. Tras analizar brevemente esta dicotomía, y hacer un estudio acerca de los objetos de uso, la labor que desempeñan, el uso que hacemos de ellos y la relación que mantenemos con estos, hemos creado una propuesta artística de transformación de los objetos de uso. Además del estudio de diferentes fuentes bibliográficas, referidas en el Apartado 6, hemos tomado como referentes a tres artistas: Johnson Tsang, Livia Marin y Erwin Wurn, profundizando en el marco teórico que los rodea. Las obras realizadas para este proyecto son objetos de uso plenamente funcionales, pero también objetos artísticos. Esto lo hemos conseguido humanizando los objetos, atribuyéndoles emociones humanas propias de la labor que desempeñan como objetos de uso. Así, una bombilla, un salero y un azucarero se convierten en objetos de uso y, a su vez, en obras de arte, poniendo así de manifiesto la complejidad de esta dicotomía.

[EN] The present work makes an analysis around the ideas of object of use and artistic object. Through the study of artistic references and the realization of 3 works, we seek to reflect and make us reflect on the perception we have of the object of use compared to the artistic object. After briefly analyzing this dichotomy, and making a study about the objects of use, the work they perform, the use we make of them and the relationship we maintain with them, we have created an artistic proposal for the transformation of the objects of use. In addition to the study of different bibliographic sources, referred to in Section 6, we have taken as references three artists: Johnson Tsang, Livia Marin and Erwin Wurn, delving into the theoretical framework that surrounds them. The works made for this project are fully functional objects of use, but also artistic objects. We have achieved this by humanizing the objects, attributing to them human emotions typical of the work they perform as objects of use. Thus, a light bulb, a salt shaker and a sugar bowl become objects of use and, in turn, works of art, thus highlighting the complexity of this dichotomy
