Abstract

[ES] En el territorio de la Serranía se organiza un pequeño municipio sobre los faldones del Alto Gaspar y muy próximo al recorrido del río Turia, conocido como Gestalgar. Esta condición costera, la topografía y la huerta, que fomenta un crecimiento económico, han sido factores determinantes para su asentamiento urbano. El atractivo que ofrecen las grandes áreas urbanas sobre las poblaciones rurales, ha derivado en una perdida de la densidad de población media en el municipio. Teniendo como base la actual situación de Gestalgar, se propone un proyecto destinado al fomento del turismo, revalorizando los recursos naturales propios del territorio. El objetivo es crear un espacio donde primen las experiencias del visitante durante su estancia, ofrenciéndoles distintas actividades gastronómicas, relacionadas con el agua o senderistas. Para ello, se plantea un hotel y espacio gastronómico como propuesta volumétrica en uno de los puntos más turísticos de Gestalgar, que cuenta con unas vistas privilegiadas hacia la playa de Gestalgar y el Peña María. Además con la voluntad de mejorar las conexiones en la zona escogida se crea un recorrido paisajístico perimetral a la acequia madre que sirva para unificar el proyecto con la actual situación, salvando las alturas entre las distintas zonas.

[EN] In the territory of the Serranía a small municipality is organised on the slopes of the Alto Gaspar and very close to the course of the river Turia, known as Gestalgar. This coastal condition, the topography and the huerta, which encourages economic growth, have been determining factors for its urban settlement. The attraction of large urban areas over rural populations has led to a loss of average population density in the municipality. Based on the current situation of Gestalgar, a project is proposed to promote tourism, revaluing the natural resources of the territory. The aim is to create a space where the visitor's experiences during their stay will be the most important, offering them different gastronomic, water-related or hiking activities. To this end, a hotel and gastronomic space is proposed as a volumetric proposal in one of the most touristic points of Gestalgar, which has privileged views of the beach of Gestalgar and Peña María. In addition, with the aim of improving the connections in the chosen area, a perimeter route is created around the perimeter of the mother irrigation channel that serves to unify the project with the current situation, bridging the heights between the different areas.
