ANÁLISIS DE OPORTUNIDADES Y DISEÑO DE UN NUEVO LAYOUT PARA LA REESTRUCTURACIÓN Y EXPANSIÓN DE UN TALLER DEDICADO A LA FABRICACIÓN DE COMPONENTES DE VEHÍCULOS FERROVIARIOS

Abstract

[ES] El trabajo aborda el análisis de la situación actual de la empresa y evalúa las oportunidades de expansión para establecer un plan de actuación. A partir de aquí, el trabajo se centra en afrontar el análisis y planteamiento de un cambio de layout para la sección de montaje y equipamiento de bogies en una factoría de vehículos ferroviarios. La motivación del trabajo surge debido a la creciente demanda de bogies que la factoría lleva experimentando en los últimos años y cuya tendencia se prevé que exceda la capacidad productiva en un futuro muy próximo. Esto deriva en la necesidad de replantear la situación actual y de buscar alternativas que permitan integrar nueva maquinaria y aprovechar mejor los recursos disponibles. Como objetivo principal del trabajo, se persigue la consecución de una solución que permita hacer frente a la demanda creciente adaptando y reutilizando los recursos disponibles. Además, se valora enormemente la consecución de una solución que facilite expandir las instalaciones en caso de que la demanda continúe la tendencia actual en el futuro. Todo ello, procurando que la transición al nuevo sistema afecte lo mínimo posible al ritmo de producción actual y no perjudique a las entregas pactadas con los clientes. Durante el desarrollo del trabajo se realizará un estudio de la situación actual que permita entender el punto de partida. Posteriormente, se plantearán diferentes soluciones de acuerdo con los requerimientos establecidos y se escogerán aquellas soluciones que mejor concuerden con los criterios predefinidos. Tras la adopción de la solución seleccionada se procederá al desarrollo detallado de la misma. Finalmente se analizará a idoneidad del resultado final y se valorará la consecución de los objetivos. Para la ejecución del trabajo se utilizarán diversas herramientas dedicadas al análisis de la situación actual, a la detección y priorización de los problemas presentes y al planteamiento y selección de soluciones. Entre las herramientas dedicadas al análisis destacan los Diagramas de Procesos y de Flujo. Para el estudio de los problemas se recurre a métodos como el Diagrama de Ishikawa o los 5 Porqués. Finalmente, para el diseño de soluciones, que en este caso resultan en la necesidad de un nuevo layout, se optará por la utilización de la metodología SLP junto a la herramienta de toma de decisiones AHP para la selección de la opción definitiva.

[EN] The work addresses the analysis of the current situation of the company and evaluates the opportunities for expansion to establish an action plan. From here, the work focuses on facing the analysis and approach of a change in layout for the bogie assembly and equipment section in a railway vehicle factory. The motivation for work arises due to the growing demand for bogies that the factory has been experiencing in recent years and whose trend is expected to exceed production capacity in the very near future. This results in the need to rethink the current situation and to look for alternatives that allow the integration of new machinery and better use of available resources. As the main objective of the work, the achievement of a solution that allows to face the growing demand is pursued by adapting and reusing the available resources. In addition, finding a solution that makes it easy to expand facilities is highly valued should demand continue the current trend in the future. All this, ensuring that the transition to the new system affects the current production rate as little as possible and does not harm the deliveries agreed with customers. During the development of the work, a study of the current situation will be carried out in order to understand the starting point. Subsequently, different solutions will be proposed in accordance with the established requirements and those solutions that best agree with the predefined criteria will be chosen. After the adoption of the selected solution, it will be developed in detail. Finally, the suitability of the final result will be analyzed and the achievement of the objectives will be assessed. For the execution of the work, various tools will be used dedicated to the analysis of the current situation, the detection and prioritization of the present problems and the approach and selection of solutions. Among the tools dedicated to analysis, the Process and Flow Diagrams stand out. For the study of the problems, methods such as the Ishikawa Diagram or the 5 Whys are used. Finally, for the design of solutions, which in this case result in the need for a new layout, the use of the SLP methodology will be chosen together with the AHP decision-making tool for the selection of the definitive option.
