[EN] The municipality of Campo de Criptana, in Ciudad Real, belongs to the literary Route of Don Quixote, that runs through 32 locations from Castilla-La Mancha. The current situation of this route is a tourism based in travelers and it does not have a big economical repercussion on these towns. The goal of this Final Degree Project is to propose a series measures that boost the rural tourism so that a growth in the wealth of Campo de Criptana will be possible. To get that, the concepts and technologies of the so-called intelligent destinations will be considered in order to form the concept of ¿smart towns¿.

[ES] El municipio de Campo de Criptana, en Ciudad Real, forma parte de
la Ruta literaria del Quijote, que recorre treinta y dos localidades castellanomanchegas. La
situación actual de esta ruta es la de un turismo basado en su mayor parte en excursionistas,
y tiene muy poca repercusión en la riqueza económica de estas poblaciones. Este Trabajo Final
de Grado tiene como interés principal proponer una serie de medidas que permitan impulsar el
turismo rural, y así poder mejorar el desarrollo económico en la localidad criptanense.
Para ello se considerarán especialmente los conceptos y tecnologías definidos
en los llamados destinos inteligentes, muchos de los cuales se pueden adaptar estas pequeñas
localidades, para dar forma al concepto de “pueblos inteligentes”
