Espacio de sinergías. Edificio híbrido en La Torre.

Abstract

[ES] La propuesta trata de revitalizar el barrio de La Torre a partir de un nuevo complejo multidisciplinar que estará fuertemente ligado al ámbito público. Aprovechando una parcela en desuso, el edificio se ubicará en la arteria principal de la zona y nos servirá como arranque para un corredor verde que articulará distintos espacios libres en el interior de la trama urbana. Los usos a considerar son: mercado municipal, cafetería, espacio deportivo, biblioteca y vivienda. Se dimensionarán según las necesidades del barrio y su volumetría deberá encajar en el contexto inmediato. Para mejorar la cohesión del programa, se generará un espacio libre y permeable que determinará la dirección de las circulaciones y los espacios de recreo. Las estrategias van dirigidas a que La Torre tenga un mayor atractivo para los habitantes del centro de Valencia y trata de mejorar la calidad del espacio púbico tras los estragos del proyecto de Sociópolis.

[EN] The proposal seeks to revitalize the neighborhood of La Torre by a new multidisciplinary complex that will be strongly linked to the public field. The building will be located on a unused plot next to the main road of the area and it will serve as a starting point of a green corridor that will joint different open spaces within the urban network. It¿ll be considered these uses: municipal market, coffee shop, sports, library and housing. They will be dimensioned by the needs of the neighborhood and its volume must fit into the building context. A open permeable space will be generated in order to improve the mixed program and it will establish the direction of circulation and recreational areas. The target of the strategies is became La Torre more attractive for the citizens of Valencia and trying to improve the quality of public space after the Sociópolis project damages.
