Abstract

[EN] Powerful, it is a visual investigation that wants to rescue and make visible those women in our history who fought for feminism, who were great intellectuals, scientists, writers or warriors. Those that have been silenced and forgotten by history. Through this artistic investigation, they want to recover their memory through video art, where their protagonists are reconverted into current women of the 21st century who continue to fight in a misogynistic society. Powerful is the first creation that pays homage to Joan of Arc.

[ES] Poderosa, es una investigación visual que quiere rescatar y visibilizar a aquellas mujeres de nuestra historia que lucharon por el feminismo, que fueron grandes intelectuales, científicas, escritoras o guerreras. Las que han sido silenciadas y olvidadas por la historia. Mediante esta investigación artística se quiere recuperar su memoria mediante el videoarte, donde sus protagonistas son reconvertidas en mujeres actuales del siglo XXI que siguen luchando en una sociedad misógina. Poderosa es la primera creación que hace un homenaje a Juana de Arco.
