Diseño y viabilidad de la ruta del arroz como atractivo turístico medioambiental de la ciudad de Cullera

Abstract

The main objective of my thesis is to make a route and to study its viability. The route will be in Cullera. The city of Cullera is located just 38 km south of the capital of the region, Valencia, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Before creating the route has been necessary to study the importance of the agriculture in town and its value at present as well as the importance of knowing some old traditions and old trades of the town. Also has been needed to study all the cultural and natural resources of Cullera, the rice museum and the Valencia¿s gastronomy. The route created will be used for students and the purpose is to make them know all about old trades, traditions, environment, Valencia¿s gastronomy and all typical farming and agriculture in Cullera. One of the aims of this itinerary will be to know how rice farming has changed from year to year. This route will be destined to students from Valencia and the purpose is to disseminate and promote the natural and cultural resources of Cullera, and to contribute in appreciating the conservation of the old traditions and their value in actuality. All of it will be teached to the students throw some activities that gives them the opportunity to learn and have fun at the same time. Apart from creating the route this thesis has the objective of knowing if the route will be viable or not. A questionnaire has been created to know the proper way to promote the itinerary. The questionnaire is destined to teachers of different schools in the region of Valencia and the aim is to know if they have knowledge of the ¿Programme of cultural spreading, Tour of Cultural Offers¿, promoted by Valencia¿s Council. This programme has to promote some cultural, environmental and patrimonial offers that we have in different regions of Valencia, giving a lot of value to their defense and diffusion.

El objetivo principal de este Trabajo Final de Grado es realizar el diseño y estudiar la viabilidad de la creación de una ruta del arroz, así como las tradiciones y oficios agrícolas que giran en torno a su cultivo, como atractivo turístico-medioambiental destinada a alumnos de escuelas e institutos valencianos, con el fin de promocionar y difundir la riqueza cultural y natural del municipio, así como contribuir en el interés por la conservación de las tradiciones y oficios de Cullera y su potenciación como atractivo turístico. Dicha ruta trata de interrelacionar la evolución del sector agrícola, la gastronomía valenciana y el museo del arroz de Cullera a través de una serie de actividades lúdico-educativas. Para ello se estudiará la importancia del sector primario en el destino y su evolución a lo largo del tiempo con la ayuda de la visita al museo del arroz y a los campos de cultivo. Además se procurará promocionar la gastronomía valenciana destacando el arroz como principal ingrediente. Uno de los aspectos a tratar en la investigación propuesta, es estudiar, a través de los resultados de las encuestas diseñadas al efecto, qué importancia se concede por parte del profesorado de enseñanzas primarias y secundarias a la conservación de los oficios y tradiciones propias de la tierra, y disponer de los datos necesarios para saber qué porcentaje de escuelas e institutos estarían interesados en incluir dicha ruta dentro de las actividades culturales que se desarrollen a lo largo del curso académico. Del mismo modo, se pretende promover y fomentar la realización de dicha actividad entre la población interesada, siendo uno de los medios adecuados la inclusión de la ruta, en el caso de determinarse su viabilidad, dentro del Programa de Difusión Cultural de Tour de Ofertas Culturales (TOC) que ofrece ¿El Servici d¿Assistència i Recursos Cultural¿ (SARC) de la Diputación de Valencia. Este programa pretende dar a conocer entre nuestros habitantes las diferentes ofertas patrimoniales, culturales y ecológicas que alberga nuestro territorio, favoreciendo su defensa y difusión.
