[EN] Researching on how different cultures around the world deal with the death of a loved one and after the death of my maternal grandmother I have come to the conclusion that we, the West, are one of the cultures that treat the subject worse, for us it is something that becomes taboo, while, for example, Buddhists or African cultures live it as a natural step, normalizing the process. So, with this project, an artist's book composed of five digital illustrations, I seek to represent the stages of grief based on references such as Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, who divides the process into five phases: denial, anger, negotiation, depression and acceptance. Taking into account that these stages are personal and different in each individual, and after having conducted a survey to more than 25 people about grief and death, I will rely on my personal experience, to try to explain this process, I believe in death as a natural process, I look for a colorful and surreal aesthetic, always keeping in mind nature, because in the end we are part of it, from there we come and there we end.
