[ES] En el trabajo se plantea el diseño de una aproximación final de precisión, basada en la tecnología GNSS SBAS. Se implantará en la cabecera 04 del aeropuerto de San Sebastián que, actualmente, únicamente cuenta con dos aproximaciones de no precisión (LNAV y NDB). El objetivo es tratar de reducir los mínimos existentes aportando un guiado vertical y un sistema de aumentación al guiado horizontal, que dotará de una mayor precisión al procedimiento.

[EN] In the recent years, San Sebastián airport has suffered drastic reductions as far as aircrafts
traffic is concerned. Many of them, due to a longitude runway diminution that took place on 2017,
with the purpose of adequate the airport to the OACI regulations. Moreover, the COVID-19
pandemic, which practically caused the total end of the great part of the airport activity, finished
sinking the traffic numbers of that airport even more.
In the present Final Degree Project, it is therefore intended to replace the actual approach
procedure LNAV in the runway 04 header. The introduction of one referred to the performancebased navigation that employ GNSS technology with an SBAS augmentation system it is
considered. That maneuver will be imposed only in the phase of final approach, saving the initial
and intermediate approach phases from the LNAV approach.
The objective is optimizing the airdrome arrival, decreasing the current minimums and
offering a better operational security. This way, the airport will count with a precision approach,
allowing rase the operations number and modernizing it.
For the development of that work, at the time of calculate and handle the obstacles to do
the surfaces, the software Excel it is been employed. These surfaces, with the rest of procedures,
are designed by the software AutoCAD and, to can visualize them over the airport environment,
the graphic representation software Google Earth is employed. All the steps which are described
through the memory, follow the rules stablished by the OACI.
