[EN] Robots are part of our daily life, having moved from the industrial field where they have been widely applied for more than 50 years, to other environments that involve a closer proximity to human beings. Among these, the use of robots for education is one of the most recent as it involves the use of this technology for pedagogical purposes.
Educational robotics seeks to generate an environment of appropriation and easy transmission of knowledge of any branch of knowledge. It is based on materials and programs predesigned for this purpose, so they are limited by the learning limits of the program that shapes them. The fact that robots are an attractive technology for children and young people is turning them into a tool increasingly present in classrooms, which is why we can find numerous cases where certain subjects, especially of a technological nature, are taught by means of robots.
Along with the robot, another success factor in these processes is the applications that are used with them, where it is necessary to combine ease of use, an attractive interface and efficiency in the use of resources.
This project aims to develop an application based on web technology for monitoring, control and operation of a humanoid robot Nao. This application will allow both to teleoperate the robot and to manage a set of learning programs for children about type 1 diabetes.
