Proceso de creación de un guión para el cortometraje de ficción: Qué voy a hacer yo sin vosotros

Abstract

[ES] En el presente trabajo se muestra el desarrollo del proceso creativo llevado a cabo para el guión literario Qué voy a hacer yo sin vosotros, comenzando por la metodología e investigación para la ideación de la historia, se seguirán los principios narrativos para la escritura del guión y el diseño de personajes, además de desarrollar otros aspectos de la preproducción como son el guion técnico o el plan de rodaje para poder llevarlo a cabo cinematográficamente.

[EN] In this paper focused on screenwriting, it will be explained how important it is to develop stories, and in order to communicate them through images there has to be a solid idea first. The screenplay is the core and the basis of a story or a play and there has been multiple researches and pieces of text made around this subject, writing a script is a form of art itself and due its long history goes back to the ancient Greeks with their theater, the process of writing it must follow some rules and standards. The aim of this project is to show the development of the creative process that took place in the making of the screenplay Qué voy a hacer yo sin vosotros, starting on the methodology and investigation process of the story and the plot, researching on short films that have a 3 act structure with a detonant, a plot twist in the midpoint, and a climax at the end, followed by the storytelling principles and character¿s writing, researching on the three main characters and giving them life and a backstory with a character design plan; defining their personalities, their age, studies, career, sexuality, and so on¿ Along with the memory of the work, other aspects of pre-production such as the shooting script and working plan will be reported in the paper, which help bring the project to life by following a team based work plan with multiple meetings for developing the idea and the way different departments will contact each other in order to reach the same approach in visual storytelling.
