Plan Especial de Infraestructura Verde Urbana de Santo Domingo Este (República Dominicana)

Abstract

[ES] El plan de infraestructura verde urbana de Santo Domingo Este tiene como finalidad el análisis exhaustivo de la infraestructura verde actual del municipio, para determinar los elementos que puedan ser mejorados y conseguir así un modelo urbano más verde y sostenible. Para ello, se analizará la estructura urbana actual, identificando sus elementos estructurantes para definir los puntos de importancia, las actividades predominantes y los tipos de movilidad, como también, los puntos críticos y necesidades en relación con los objetivos de la infraestructura verde, para realizar así el diagnóstico del estado actual en el municipio. Con el análisis realizado, se definirán las líneas de acción que constituirá la infraestructura verde municipal futura: incremento y mejora de la infraestructura verde existente, definición de las estrategias para la planificación, gestión y seguimiento periódico, medidas para fomentar la participación ciudadana en el desarrollo del plan y concientización de este para mejor aceptación. Para la selección de las alternativas, se realizará un análisis multicriterio a base de valoraciones positivas para la sociedad y el medioambiente, permitiendo alcanzar los objetivos previamente definidos.

[EN] The urban green infrastructure plan of Santo Domingo East aims at an exhaustive analysis of the current green infrastructure of the municipality, in order to determine the elements that can be improved and thus achieve a greener and more sustainable urban model. For this purpose, the current urban structure will be analyzed, identifying its structuring elements to define the points of importance, the predominant activities and the types of mobility, as well as the critical points and needs in relation to the objectives of the green infrastructure, in order to carry out the diagnosis of the current state in the municipality. With the analysis made, the lines of action that will constitute the future municipal green infrastructure will be defined: increase and improvement of the existing green infrastructure, definition of strategies for planning, management and periodic monitoring, measures to promote citizen participation in the development of the plan and awareness of it for better acceptance. For the selection of the alternatives, a multi-criteria analysis will be carried out based on positive assessments for society and the environment, allowing the previously defined objectives to be achieved.
