Plan Técnico de Gestión Forestal de la zona oeste del monte Sotorroni (Alcoy)

Abstract

[ES] Tras el gran incendio forestal del año 1994, que afectó a unas 336 hectáreas del monte Sotorroni, se produjo como resultado una alteración de su dinámica natural. Después del incendio, se realizaron trabajos de mejora silvícola en los años posteriores a fin de mejorar el estado del monte. En la actualidad, la evolución natural del monte, hace necesaria nuevamente la actuación en dicho entorno forestal. El objeto principal de este documento, es la realización de un Plan Técnico de Gestión Forestal sobre un conjunto de parcelas de utilidad pública de la mitad oeste del monte Sotorroni, con una superficie total de 216 ha, dentro del término municipal de Alcoi. Este Plan tendrá la finalidad de garantizar, mediante su aplicación, la mejora del monte, la sostenibilidad ambiental y económica del uso y aprovechamiento de los recursos forestales en la finca objeto de gestión. Se incluye, dentro de los objetivos, en la medida de lo posible, el uso recreativo del monte, pero teniendo como prioridad la protección y mejora continua de éste. El método de ordenación que se utiliza para la planificación es el de ordenación por rodales, aplicando el método silvícola que mejor se adapte a cada masa arbórea, realizando tratamientos de mejora que consistirán en clareos y claras tempranos, acompañados por podas y desbroces en las zonas en que la vegetación arbórea y la orografía lo permita. El presupuesto estimado de este plan, contemplado a falta de plan, asciende a 293.538,91 €.

The main purpose of this document is to carry out a Technical Plan for Forest Management on a set of plots of public utility in the western half of Mount Sotorroni, with a total area of 216 ha, within the municipality of Alcoi.

This Plan will have the purpose of guaranteeing, through its application, the improvement of the forest and the environmental and economic sustainability of the use and exploitation of forest resources on the farm under management, including recreational use within the objectives as far as possible. of the mount, but having as priority the protection and continuous improvement of the same.

The management method used for planning is management by stands, applying the forestry method that best suits each tree mass, carrying out improvement treatments that will consist of thinning and early clearing, accompanied by pruning and clearing in the areas in which the arboreal vegetation and the orography allow it.

The estimated budget of this plan, contemplated in the absence of a project, amounts to 293.538,91 €.
