Cullera como referente del turismo mediterráneo: patrimonio, evolución del sector y nuevas estrategias

Abstract

[ES] La finalidad del trabajo es dar a conocer las fiestas de Cullera, un ámbito que no ha sido lo suficientemente explorado y que puede ser muy útil a la hora de revalorizar el municipio como destino turístico. También se estudian los inicios del turismo en la localidad y se aporta un análisis DAFO y un inventario de las nuevas acciones turísticas que se están llevando a cabo para ofrecer al visitante una experiencia de mayor calidad. Se ha llegado a la conclusión de que Cullera tiene más potencial que el mero turismo de sol y playa y que por tanto una gestión actualizada aportaría mayores beneficios.

[EN] The purpose of the work is to publicize the festivities of Cullera, an area that has not been sufficiently explored and that can be very useful when it comes to revaluing the municipality as a tourist destination. The beginnings of tourism in the town are also studied and a SWOT analysis and an inventory of the new tourist actions that are being carried out to offer the visitor a higher quality experience are provided. It has been concluded that Cullera has more potential than mere sun and beach tourism and that therefore an updated management would bring greater benefits.
