[ES] El proyecto consiste en un sistema capaz de clasificar cajas/embalajes empleando una cinta transportadora de banda y una mesa de rodillos de bola. Previamente se realizará un análisis mediante el desarrollo de un programa de visión artificial para llevar a cabo el control de calidad del embalaje. Mediante sensores ópticos (fotocélulas), funcionando en modo de detector de presencia, se obtendrá información de la altura de las cajas, útil para la clasificación de los embalajes al conocer su tamaño, así como de la llegada a la zona de clasificación mediante aire comprimido, donde en el caso de considerarse el producto desfavorable, este será rechazado.

production process. An automation system in charge of classifying and organizing boxes or

[EN] This project involves an improvement and refinement of the classification stage of the
production process. An automation system in charge of classifying and organizing boxes or
packaging is analysed and developed. For this purpose, transport machinery consisting of a
conveyor belt and a ball roller table is used, in addition to the use of compressed air. All this,
once the quality control by artificial vision of the products has been carried out.
To this end, it is used a programmable logic controller (PLC) in charge of coordinating, enabling
and regulating the behaviour of all the equipment, sensors and actuators implemented in the
system. On the other hand, an artificial vision program is carried out whose purpose is the
detection of imperfections or failures in the products. Likewise, an HMI (Human-Machine
Interface) program is executed whose purpose leads to real-me monitoring of the entire system
by the professionals in charge.
Through the development of the document itself, the resolutoon is detailed in a structured and
precise manner, both the different software and the physical installation of the project,
corroborating its wide scope in any field of industry and engineering.
Therefore, the work carried out shows all the technical and installaton aspects of the proposed
automated system, and in turn the results obtained by it, managing to reflect large-scale
economic and efficiency improvements.
