[EN] This project arises from the need for continuous learning of the materials and new techniques that are being introduced in the field of Tissue Conservation and Restoration, seeking to optimize results and apply the most respectful procedure possible with the piece to be intervened.
Thus, in this research work, through an experimental study, the effect of the use of silicone solvents (cyclomethicone D5) during the aqueous cleaning treatment on viscose rayon fabric (100% viscose composition) is evaluated.
To do this, several series of test tubes of this fabric are prepared, which are subjected to various cycles of accelerated artificial aging, on the one hand, dry heat and on the other, UV radiation in two batches each. After optimizing the parameters of the intervention process, the different series of test tubes are evaluated by optical microscopy, FTIR-ATR and mechanical tests, and in this way some conclusions can be established regarding the viscose fabric when it is intervened with a cleaning treatment. aqueous with a cyclomethicone interface, and its subsequent evolution over time. The results obtained are being satisfactory.
