modelo paramétrico o no paramétrico.
cultivo.

[EN] The main objective of the project is to evaluate and map the rice varieties present in the Albufera Natural Park, through the use of satellite images from the Sentinel mission and the Google Earth Engine platform. To achieve this objective, different spectral indices (NDVI, MSI, NBR, among others) and the backscattering of SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) bands were considered. The data were used to differentiate the varieties for supervised classification.
The project workflow consisted of different stages, starting with the pre-processing of the information obtained from the field in QGIS. These plots were then imported into the Google Earth Engine platform to filter and delimit the study area. A connection was made with the Sentinel satellite repository to obtain the necessary images (multispectral "Sentinel-2" and SAR "Sentinel-1"), and the information of interest for the rice growing season in the 2022 harvest was filtered. With the information obtained, different Sentinel-2 spectral bands were combined in order to obtain the vegetation indices, which made it possible to differentiate the photosynthetic state of the plants. From the different polarizations of the Sentinel 1 SAR bands, it was possible to analyze the structural state of the vegetation. The data obtained from both satellites were essential for the classification and differentiation of rice varieties. After obtaining the values of the spectral and backscatter indices, a statistical study was carried out to determine the normality or non-normality of the data, to decide whether to perform a parametric or non-parametric model. To refine and improve the supervised classification model, the results of the statistical analysis were used to differentiate the maximum number of rice varieties in the study area. Thus, the performance of the Sentinel mission for rice mapping could be evaluated. The results obtained can enable farmers to make decisions that will improve the productivity of the crop.
