dc.description.abstract | Throughout the history of feminisms, the question of work and its emancipatory capacity as an enabler of the economic independence of women has been a central question. Does salaried work really allow such independence and foster freedom when women are occupied almost exclusively in domestic work and the care of children and the elderly? Is this idea of salaried work, which also affects men when they do not chose the conditions in which it is carried out, liberating per se? These and other questions concerning work organisation and the changes produced in the typologies of work since Fordism until post-Taylorism have been the object of analysis in feminist debates and are still alive today.
