MEDIO AMBIENTE Y MODERNIDAD EN LA OBRA DE LE CORBUSIER A TRAVÉS DEL DIBUJO

Abstract

[EN] The crisis of international architecture, at the first 30s, introduced new ties to place and local culture. Climate was one of outstanding matters which approached the modern movement to national architecture. The work of Le Corbusier reflects all this changing period and his drawings show three different phases. This particular view of modernity could build the basis for an architecture adapted to the environment from the beginning of the project.

[ES] La crisis del internacionalismo en arquitectura a principio de los años 30, introdujo la valoración de aspectos intrínsecos al lugar y la cultura, siendo el clima uno de los elementos esenciales para acercar la arquitectura moderna a las condiciones locales. La obra de Le Corbusier fue significativa de todo este periodo de cambio, mostrando en sus dibujos tres etapas diferentes. En el contexto actual, conocer esta particular lectura de la modernidad fundamenta el sentido de una arquitectura vinculada al medio desde el principio del proyecto.
