The purpose of this final project was the optimization of a PCB.
This PCB performs the function of reading the impulses emitted by the arm when closing the
hand. When talking about these types of impulses we know that it is an EMG signal; these are
very low voltage sinusoidal signals. The task of the board is to read this type of signal, increase
it, modify it when passing through a high-pass filter and a low pass and compare it with a fixed
voltage level introduced, to enable the output signal transformed into a digital square signal in
case it exceeds.
The purpose of this project is to reduce the size of the board to be able to be moved in their
workplace and therefore have better access to it. As for the size reduction it is needed to
change components by their respective ones in SMD, also introduce several new components
for better functioning of the previous ones, and the introduction of new integrated circuits for
a change in functions of the board.
All this process is performed only with the Eagle program since it is the main program used for
the realization of circuits and then make the corresponding PCB. For the use of this program
several tutorials have been downloaded for further learning and the tutors have helped in the
development of the final board.
