dc.description.abstract | The goal of this project is to execute a comparison of the life cycles of a standard house and an energy efficient house in order to achieve an acceptable balance between environmental and economic efficiency. Above everything this analysis focuses on choosing the most sustainable materials which work efficiently as a group and could get a significant reduction of use energy along the life of the house. With this comparison it is expected to find a balance competitive enough to make a place for itself in the current market. The main advantage of the sustainable architecture is an environment-friendly approach and the search for ways to reduce the environmental mark the industry leaves behind. Another important aspect is that once a precise analysis is performed, the outcome provides a building energy efficient enough for the consumer to notice the economization in energy and heat savings. Such a saving is capable of justifying the extra cost of the house in just a few years of active use. So throughout a minimum life expectancy of 50 years for buildings, the final result becomes as profitable for the user, as it is for the environment. | es_ES |
