dc.description.abstract | The project consisted of finding the pressure losses of a wind tunnel, as well as calculating, designing and building the main components of the wind tunnel for instance: fan, honeycomb and support testing zone. Firstly, the first part at the project had been looking for information, designing and calculating. The second phase of the project, it was involved in a build the best prototype of a cardboard honeycomb according to the calculations, and were performed to construct the special support for the testing zone of the wood. Moreover, measurement to evaluate the different types of honeycomb, and how these affected the testing area. After this, we built a prototype with PVC and cardboard to check or better visualize the turbulence in the testing area. Finally we did one test with a small-scale wind turbine to evaluate the output power function of the wind angle | es_ES |
