dc.description.abstract The purpose of this project is improving a haptic interaction using audio feedback conveying the material properties. Haptic parameters index a set of recorded audio samples, which can be replayed, looped and interpolated. The recording and simulation will be done for a small product. The application domain is marketing studies using virtual environments. As haptic interaction device a Phantom Omni device from Sensable will be used. Research includes synchronous recording of audio samples and haptic parameters and analyzing them for effective simulation. The audio will remain ready to be including in a haptic interaction. es_ES
