[EN] The ¿Profilometer¿ or Form Talysurf Series 2 measures surface profiles by means of scanning a mechanical stylus across the sample.

This is actually located over a motorised column which gives fully up/down and tilt movement.The Profilometer is needed in another laboratory to take measurements of the ¿Gear Contact Simulator Big¿ but the original motorised column cannot be used there due to the unusual structure of the ¿Gear Contact Simulator Big¿.

So we will need to design another column mounted over the¿¿Gear Contact Simulator Big¿¿ and it we will need to provide the same characteristics as the original column except the motoriced¿s application.
