| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | [EN] The new terminological needs required by today’s science advancements enrich languages with new terms. The new functional, communicative and interdisciplinary dimension of ESP (English for Specific Purposes) demands special attention to the specific terminology used in each discipline. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the structure of the new lexical creations of frequent use in academic and professional computer science environments formed by means of prefixation of already existing English and Spanish terms. This paper studies the most usual prefixes and compares the new words in both languages and observes if they share the same prefixes or, on the contrary, if they show a different linguistic resource in their word formation process | es_ES |
