The company safety : factors for efficient work training

Abstract

[EN] Training can produce and will produce positive results based on clearly defined and specific needs of the workplace and provided paying attention both to learning mode. In the world of work in the enterprise environment is a key element to reducing accidents. Hence the importance of considering all the variables that can affect the training activity; such as: the type and cultural level of workers, the agenda of the training and the purpose it is intended to achieve with it, when to perform such training, the hours and the place where will carry out and, finally, the frequency of training actions. This type of training, which is usually performed in a single act, requires a detailed study of the reasons that carried out and their variables. This article presents a case where the initial design of the training, a Department of a company in the chemical sector, had to be modified to reduce the accident rate and the positive results achieved.

[ES] La formación puede producir y producirá resultados positivos siempre que se base en necesidades claramente definidas y específicas del lugar de trabajo y se imparta prestando atención tanto a éstas como al modo de aprendizaje. En el mundo laboral en el entorno de la empresa es un elemento clave para reducir la siniestralidad. De ahí la importancia de considerar todas las variables que pueden afectar a la actividad formativa; tales como: el tipo y nivel cultural de los trabajadores, el temario de la formación y el objetivo que se pretende alcanzar con ella, cuándo realizar dicha formación, las horas y el lugar donde se va a llevar a cabo y, finalmente, la frecuencia de las acciones formativas. Este tipo de formación, que suele realizarse en un acto sencillo, requiere un estudio pormenorizado de los motivos que la llevan a cabo y de sus variables. En este artículo se presenta un caso donde el diseño inicial de la formación, en un departamento de una empresa del sector químico, tuvo que ser modificado para reducir la siniestralidad y los resultados, positivos, alcanzados.
