abundantes a nivel global.

[EN] Increasing environmental pollution and energy crises have led
renewable energy, such as wind power and solar photovoltaic, to have a more
important role in the system of generation and distribution of energy.
That is why in developed countries, in particular, it has undertaken a
major investment in the development and implementation of these
renewables, especially during the last decade. This fact has led to a
significant improvement in cost and performance, as may well be seen in the
field of photovoltaics, which is one of the most abundant global technologies.
It is small-scale and independent photovoltaic generation systems
where it has become more competitive. The dependence on the sun is its most
important feature, because this has an infinite capacity to provide energy.
However, the frequency with which solar radiation reaches the earth
anywhere is intermittent, either by the length of the daytime period or
inclement weather; facts that make the inefficient photovoltaic generation
alone. Why energy storage is essential to stabilize these discontinuities and
thus ensure a steady and reliable supply.
In the case of Spain, the economic crisis that began in 2009 has reduced
investment in renewable energies from one of the countries with the highest
percentage in renewable production worldwide, to be at the end of the tail,
with almost zero alteration in the last five years. Furthermore, Spain is the
only country in the world that currently has a tariff deficit in the electricity
sector. This fact has greatly motivated the rising price of electricity during
each year.
Thus, the development of new systems where renewable energy sources
are integrated is necessary in order to promote recovery in the sector on the
one hand; stabilize electricity prices on the other; and giving consumers
choices to meet the high costs in buying power they are subject today.
