Abstract

In recent years we have seen a steady growth in the use of renewable energies. What we are looking for is to replace the use of traditional methods of energy production to renewable energy production. But these renewable energy sources are volatile and intermittent, so the energy produced is also intermittent, and this can be a problem. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the operational flexibility of the energy network. In order to ensure the network security, the energy generated must be in balance with energy consumption. Therefore, conventional power generators must be able to operate with certain flexibility. In addition, new energy network concepts, such as dynamic demand control, conversion, transmission and storage need to be further developed.
