Tejiendo el género. Mujer,tejido y arte

Abstract

[ES] Este TFG trata varios temas que confluyen entre sí, como son la mujer, el tejido y el arte. El tema de estudio principal es la presencia que ha tenido “lo textil” en el arte del S.XX, su vinculación con la mujer y la propia condición de arte que tiene el tejido. Este material siempre ha estado relacionado con la mujer como un trabajo manual en ella, ya que es la mujer la que ha realizado históricamente las labores domésticas que incluyen bordar, coser, tejer, etc. Por otro lado, según la mujer va incorporándose al mundo del arte, va introduciendo temas y técnicas propias de esta cultura popular que le son cercanos como mujer. Nuestro proyecto artístico titulado “Tejiendo el género”, plantea la realización de una serie de obras pictóricas mediante técnicas textiles que nos han permitido abordar las relaciones entre artes decorativas y bellas artes. Así mismo, el proyecto utiliza una metodología creativa experimental basada en una poética personal propia que parte de la abstracción para encontrar un sentido en la contemporaneidad.

[EN] This TFG addresses several issues that converge with each other, such as women, weaving and art. The main topic of study is the presence it had the “textile” in the art of the twentieth century, its relationship with the woman, and the own condition of art that has the textile. This material has always been associated with women as manual labor in it because it is the woman who has historically performed the household chores that include embroidery, sewing, knitting etc. Moreover, as women will joining the world of art, it is introducing themes and characteristics of this popular culture, that are near and woman techniques. Our artistic project entitled “Weaving gender “ poses the realization of a series of paintings by textile techniques that have helped to address the relationship between decorative arts and fine arts . Likewise, the project proposes a creative experimental methodology based on own personal poetics of abstraction to find meaning in contemporary times.
