dc.description.abstract While Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes are established for new buildings, the majority of existing buildings is not maintained, refurbished or deconstructed with BIM yet. Once construction is completed, BIM gives its information to manage the facilities during its life cycle, optimizing the maintenance, supplies stock, etc. (Coordina Bim Consulting, 2015). This research project will be undertaken with the aim of investigating how Building Information Modelling can be used to add parameters or features relating to the subject case study, in this case a 3d model made with Revit, which are the result of an investigation based on surveys. The first part of the thesis focuses on the term Building Information Modelling (BIM), specifically Revit 2015. In the second part the focus will shift towards on Condition Based on Surveys (CBS). The last section of this Bachelor’s Thesis will deal to link BIM and CBS. To achieve this aim, it will be made a control and checking of a real room, collecting data of the real state of its elements, for further analysis with Revit Software. Afterwards it will be created a 3D single model of the real room. And latest and most important it will be investigated the way to put together all this information on the software so it can value the total costs for its future repairs and maintenance. es_ES
