Arquitectura y cine : apuntes sobre la obra de François Truffaut

Abstract

A finales de la década de los 50 se produjo en el cine francés una interesante renovación. La investigación se centrará inicialmente en una aproximación a la Nouvelle Vague y al estudio de uno de sus máximos representantes, François Truffaut. La intención de la investigación surge a partir de sus films, en los cuales se pretende analizar el papel del espacio arquitectónico y urbano en su obra. En el trabajo, se estudiarán algunas de sus películas como Los 400 golpes, Besos robados o La noche americana. Se llevarán a cabo análisis generales que nos ayuden a establecer una comparación entre ellas, teniendo en cuenta factores tales como la iluminación de los espacios interiores, los personajes en escena, la fotografía, entre otros. Se tomaran en cuenta los elementos y “gestos” arquitectónicos que el autor utiliza en su filmografía, para esto se elaborará un material gráfico que nos ayude a entender mejor el espacio y el envoltorio arquitectónico y como estos adquieren cierto protagonismo en la narración, teniendo en cuenta factores tales como: - Espacios, Iluminación, ornamentación y recorrido. -Recreación de atmósferas fílmicas - Construcción de ambientes para el desarrollo de argumentos como soporte para la explicación de los personajes. - Elaborar conclusiones propias que nos hagan entender los interiores y a los personajes que interactúan dentro de los mismos, así como el desarrollo narrativo en ellos.

In the late 50’s in French cinema occurred an interesting renewal. The research will initially focus in the approach to the Nouvelle Vague and the study of one of its leading representatives, François Truffaut. The intent of the research arises from his films, in which I analyze the role of architectural and urban space in his work. Also we will study some of his films The 400 Blows, Stolen Kisses and Day for Night, this analysis pretend to make a comparison between them, taking into account factors such as lighting of interior spaces, the characters on stage, photography, among others. Elements and architectural "gestures" that the author uses in his films were taken into account for this a chart that helps to get a better understanding of space and architectural space. The work studies how they acquire certain role in the narrative taking into account such factors as: - Spaces, lighting, decoration and travel. - Recreation of filmic atmospheres - Construction of environments for developing arguments as support for the explanation of the characters. - Develop of conclusions that make us understand the inner and characters that interact within them, and the narrative development in them.
