IDENTIDAD Y SEXUALID AD EN LA PINTURA TENEBRISTA CONTEMPOR ÁNEA

Abstract

[EN] This Work of Fina l Degree is composed by pictorial series: Identities and u rban sexualities , and its corresponding memory written like research work and personal reflection . It arises for my interest to paint the portrait of the social reality around me supporting by the tenebriste clear dark painting technique It is focused, as a political matter, in body - power/ body - sexuality relation. Therefore it ́s the time to provide a context for the body in relation to the policies that act on him at the present time.I claim in my work that the feminine portrayed subjects re - appropriate of his own body and reconquer it. It centers on the representation of the feminine b ody , on the one hand the flesh and on the other hand the subject identity , both linked to each other. The b ody is a ccepted like a balance between the flesh, his desires and the world, his proced ure and his realities, constantly submitted to a social constructs of our identity, gender type and sexuality. Nowadays it supposes a strangeness and an irregularity to represent the b ody as it real form from an obj ective perspective . Here is where exixts a similar artistic current of the Baroque and more specifically with the tenebrism e, b ecause the last one makes positive the negative concept in the past about the not normative esthetics of the b odies , of the u gly and grotesque considered thing . That is why during the artistic current of the Barroque the ideals of symmetry and beauty b alance , are subjected to subjecti vities according to the historical context of the moment

[ES] Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado está compuesto por una reflexión personal que indaga las diversas identidades y sexualidades urbanas contemporáneas en comparación a las identidades y sexualidades representadas en el periodo del Barroco , aplicado en el c ampo de la pintura. Culmina con la creación de una serie pictórica y su correspondiente memoria escrita. Surge por mi interés de retratar una parte concreta de la realidad social que me rodea apoyándome en la técnica pictórica del claroscuro tenebrista. Concre tamente identidades y sexualidades femeninas, centradas en la relación cuerpo - poder/ cuerpo y sexualidad, como una cuestión política. Para ello es importante contextualizar el cuerpo en relación a las políticas que actúan sobre él en la actualidad. El cue rpo femenino es entonces representado por un lado la carne y por otro la identidad del sujeto ambos ligados entre sí y entendido como un todo. El cuerpo es entendido como un equilibrio entre esa carne, sus deseos y el mundo, sus normas y sus realidades, co nstantemente sometido a construcciones sociales de la identidad, el género y la sexualidad. Hoy en día representar el cuerpo tal y como es desde una perspectiva real y objetiva supone una extrañeza y una irregularidad. Es aquí donde existe un símil con la corriente artística del Barroco y más concretamente con el tenebrismo porque este último ha positivado el concepto negativo que se tenía de la estética no normativa de los cuerpos, de lo considerado feo y grotesco. De esta manera en el Barroco se desplazar on los ideales de simetría y equilibrio de la belleza, pero este término está sujeto a subjetividades según el contexto histórico del que estemos hablando
