dc.description.abstract | [EN] This study investigates the visual perception embodied in the idea of silence and form . I n the photographic work s of Jungjin Lee , the artist manages t o transfer an ambia nce of silence, of pureness, roughness, of lonely beauty and strong forces without the element of colour . Somehow, Jungjin Lee succeeds with only few element s a richness in her work that touch es . Also Per Kirkebys works function fantastically in terms of silence and balance, as his paintings catch the observers’ attention completely and profoundly. What is it that makes us wanting to look at this artwork for ever? Through the exploration of Arnheims ’ studies in the field of psychology, phenomenology and physiology the research examines the effectiveness of human SE E ING. Seeing as a form of perceiving, of feeling and observing builds the origin of my artistic work. The Silence that plays an important role throughout my work very much is related to the experience of seeing and perceiving. In relation to Silence it also is important to look at the role of reduction. Aesthetically pleasant we sense what appears as simple as possible to us. Factors like harmony and balance infer to the principle of simplicity. Of course, a lot of perceptional experiences do not appear in balance nor in harmony. Therefore, the principle of dynamics plays as well an important role when interpretating pictures. All sensations are due to dualism of increase and reduction of tension. Other m edias based on psychological aesthetics such as gestalt, growth, space, light, colour, movement and ex pression are only discussed secondar il y . The emphasis is laid on the terms silence and form , because these seem to have a big importance in Jungjin Lees’ and Per Kirkebys’ work, and, it is the silent voice that speaks in their pictures that capture my attention and give the art its beautiful poetry and profoundness. | es_ES |
