La Nueva Comedia Americana: Estudio de una nueva corriente cinematográfica

Abstract

Este trabajo pretende analizar y desgranar los principales componentes y mecanismos de la comedia americana contemporánea, explicar su concepción, analizar sus diferentes vías de creación, hallar en la variedad de su filmografía los argumentos y contenidos que dan mayor cohesión al conjunto. En definitiva, mostrar que a partir, de un, tan, denostado género han surgido elementos muy interesantes y diversos con un valor cinematográfico mayor del atribuido hasta la fecha. Hallando temas recurrentes, puntos comunes entre los estilos que de él derivan, pero también las diferentes características de sus componentes y el como dentro de un movimiento tan particular han surgido tan variados resultados. Analizando a través de las obras de los más importantes creadores de la llamada “Nueva Comedia Americana” para observar el estilo, tanto discursivo como narrativo que existe en cada uno de ellos.

This essay aims to analyze the main components and mechanisms that are involved in the contemporary American comedy. The changes that created it, the differences it set with its past, what makes it different, see the work of its main creators and study their ways of comedy. Shed some light about what gives cohesion to the whole but also what makes unique the comedians who have been more relevant to it. Give some value to such an ignored and criticized genre and movement. Finding recurring topics, common bounds between its subgenres and main styles, what have been the main issues addressed during these years in these movies. Analyze through the main movies of the key creators of the modern comedy in the US to see their different styles, in a narrative and discursive way, to see what the point of their filmographies is, what their humour is based about.
