Abstract

[EN] The echoes of the XV International Congress on Graphic Languages in Architecture, celebrated in Las Palmas of Gran Canaria in May 2014, still sound in the air. The gathering was centered in the matter of ‘travel drawings in the architecture field’. And it brings to us a very interesting reflection, full of relevant contributions related to its history, practice and teaching. However: perhaps some significate details are imposed about it. It should be pointed out, for example, the need to leave behind certain conceptual and language confusions; and particularly, that of identifying with precision the hypothetically different characteristics of the drawing as ‘an end’ and ‘as a means to’.

El encuentro se centró en la cuestión de ‘los dibujos de viaje en el ámbito de la arquitectura’. Y dio pie a una reflexión no poco interesante, llena de aportaciones relevantes relacionadas con su historia, su práctica y su enseñanza 1. Ahora bien: tal vez se impongan algunas precisiones significativas al respecto.
